Autumn is well settled in Montreal. We still have a few weeks to enjoy the beautiful days before winter comes. Here are some ideas for free outings so you can have fun without spending a dime.

Take a walk in the public markets
Good weather, bad weather, public markets are open throughout the year. Take the opportunity to go for a walk in the different markets of the city. Jean-Talon, Atwater, Maisonneuve or Lachine markets : the choice is wide to discover the beautiful seasonal products of Quebec. If you feel like it, you can also bring back a squash to cook it or decorate your home.

M for Montreal
From November 20th to 23rd, the M music festival will be held in Montreal. Enjoy free shows of new pop, hip-hop or electro music.

Festival du Monde Arabe
This fall Montreal is hosting the 20th edition of the Festival du Monde Arabe of Montreal from October 25th to November 17th. Enjoy shows, films, conferences and debates. Take this opportunity to learn more about the culture of this region of the world.

Autumnal walks
To enjoy the last beautiful fall temperatures, why not go for a stroll on the heights of Montreal. You can either go to the Mount Royal or in the parks of the city to admire the warm colors of autumn. You can also enjoy the weekend to go to one of the national parks of Quebec for a hike with family or friends.

Montreal Bach Festival
This year, the Bach Festival includes the Off Bach Festival which offers several free events on the sidelines of the official program. From November 20th to December, go to 3487 Saint-Laurent Boulevard to enjoy wonderful 45-minute mini concerts.
