The Youniti Foundation was created with love. We aim to create a better world for all through a wide range of community assistance programs.
We’re guided by the principles of mutual aid and sharing. There are many ways that you can support our mission and projects.
Thank you for your generosity!
Youniti is all about mutual aid. Here’s how you can support Youniti:
– Travel on Youniti Coaches in Benin, click here.
– Cash donations, click here.
Youniti is setting up several multipurpose community assistance centres. The first is located in Sèdjè District, Zé Commune, Atlantic Department, Benin.
All services offered at Youniti Centres are free.
These services include:
– Workshops for entrepreneurs on topics such as tailoring, baby clothing and accessories, Kanvo weaving, shoemaking, hairdressing, permaculture, gardening, computer use and secretarial services, and more
– Youniti courses on wellness
– Sports teams, such as junior and senior soccer and basketball teams, with championships and trophies
– Dance, ballet, theater and choreography classes
– Medical centers
– Libraries
– Swings and slides
– Clothing distribution
Recycling and upcycling:
Protecting the environment is another important priority at Youniti. Our centres offer shoemaking workshops where participants learn how to make sandals out of used tires. The sandals are then distributed to villagers in need.
We also make air conditioners out of recycled plastic bottles.
By offering a wide range of free services, our centres aim to help people become more autonomous and achieve their life goals. Youniti Centers offer unique opportunities for personal growth and development on many levels, while respecting the environment.
The Youniti Foundation also has a project called Youniti Wells. Several drinking water wells are currently being installed in Benin, where access to clean drinking water remains challenging for the entire population, especially in rural areas. Women and children often have to travel miles from their homes to get water and carry heavy loads to meet their families’ needs.
Youniti aims to improve their quality of life by installing wells. Thanks to these water sources, thousands of people are now able to access clean drinking water on a daily basis. This helps reduce the incidence of disease and allows children to attend school.
Youniti holds regular clothing drives to collect items for children and adults with limited resources.
Child education is important to Youniti. Thanks to your support, the Youniti Foundation covers school fees, pays for building repairs and helps provide valuable supplies so that children can get the education they deserve.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the members of Étoiles de la Fraternité, our partner NGO, for their generous contrbution to the projects of Youniti.
Thank you for your invaluable assistance.
Together, we can provide help to those who need it.

OUR COMMITMENT
TO THE ENVIRONMENT
Environmental protection is a top priority for the Youniti Foundation and this concern shapes everything we do. Each of our centres will be built on a large lot and include permaculture, fruit trees and drinking water management facilities. These spaces will be maintained by the community and provide villagers with a secure source of food.
WEBSITE: YOUNITI.ORG
The new Youniti website is free to use and gives people the chance to help each other by giving away items or selling them for less than $40. The platform also allows companies and organizations to register in the directory, post items for sale for less than $40, and share news about special deals and liquidations. Notices about carpooling opportunities and garage sales can also be posted on the site.
Youniti aims to create an affordable marketplace for everyone, including individuals, businesses and organizations. In the same spirit of mutual aid, a portion of the website’s revenues is redistributed to the Youniti Foundation, which provides assistance to communities both locally and internationally.
